Indoor Cycling to the Greatest Music of All Time -Beat for Beat
Note: Symphonic Cycling via Zoom, Sundays 10:30 AM EST: click here for details
“Music is like is a legal drug for athletes. It can reduce the perception of effort significantly and increase endurance by as much as 15 percent.” --Costas Karageorghis, Ph.D., London’s Brunel University School of Sport and Education, leading authority on music and exercise.
Pedal beat-for-beat, bar-for-bar to the greats: Beethoven, Mozart, Brahms, Ravel, Tchaikovsky and others. A classically trained musician and athlete (Steve Schatz) choreographs Masterpieces to create a "spinning interpretation": bike movements (in and out of the saddle), speed/cadence and tempo changes, resistance changes -- all choreographed to the score and accompanied by colorful and descriptive visualizations describing the "symphonic landscape". Participants lose themselves in the music and travel to distant places and times. You'll not only get the workout of your life, but you'll experience these masterpieces in a dynamic, kinetic way -- you'll truly feel their energy and greatness. Cycling to the greatest music of all will inspire you to go farther and faster than you think you ever could!
